About

A native of Boise, Idaho by way of the Basque Country of northern Spain, Javi Zubizarreta has been internationally recognized for his work in film, video, editorial, social media, and more. His films have played across six continents and received acclaim at multiple international film festivals. In 2014 he returned to his alma mater at the University of Notre Dame to help launch Grotto Network, a media initiative aimed at inspiring young people across the world. As Director of Grotto Network, he received six Emmy Awards and multiple Catholic Media Awards for his work across Grotto’s content and digital strategy.

He is an avid home repairer and devoted dog-dad to Ava, a very particular mini-Schnauzer.
